Meeting in Parliament

The leadership of the Supreme Council and members of the Presidium met today with the delegation of the Republic of Artsakh. The Head of the apparatus of the foreign policy department Semyon Afiyan and the Head of the Artsakh Republic government's affairs department Arayik Lazaryan arrived in Pridnestrovie as international observers in the presidential elections.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov thanked the guests for participating in important political event for our republic and noted that Pridnestrovie and Nagorno-Karabakh have much in common.

Presidential elections in our republic are being held in a difficult geopolitical period. This was emphasized in a conversation with the guests by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva. It is at such moments that it is important to have a number of friends, to whom the Republic of Artsakh belongs of course.

The leadership of the Supreme Council noted the great role of the peacekeeping mission of Russia. Russian peacekeepers ensure peace and quiet life in Pridnestrovie and Nagorno-Karabakh.
