The Supreme Council adopted in the course of the plenary session a number of legislations in the first reading. The initiative of the deputies of the Committee on Legislation Galina Antyufeyeva, Valery Babchinetsky, Oleg Petrik and Stepan Stepanov to introduce criminal liability for desecrating the symbols of military glory of the USSR and PMR, insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland or humiliating the honor and dignity of veterans of the Great Patriotic War was supported. The law-in-draft is aimed at preventing such facts.
Amendments that exempt citizens from submitting certificates and documents from civil registration authorities to the Unified State Social Insurance Fund were adopted in the first reading. Changes are made to the law "On acts of civil status" and are associated with the operation of the system of interdepartmental data exchange. Unified fund of social insurance will be able to independently request the necessary information online from the registry office database.
The initiative was developed for the convenience of citizens and will make it possible to quickly draw up the necessary documents , according to the deputies.
The first reading passed an initiative to amend the Civil and Arbitration Procedural Codes. It is aimed at relieving legal entities and entrepreneurs from the obligation to provide an extract when submitting an application to the court. The current procedure is simplified. The new rule, if adopted, will take effect from next year, since city and district courts must connect to the information system for interdepartmental data exchange. As for the appeal to the court of foreign legal entities or foreign individual entrepreneurs, they need to provide an extract or other document confirming the legal status of the country where they are registered. It must be translated into Russian, notarized and legalized.
