The Tax Payment Amnesty for solid household waste removal

Most of the owners of private houses have already signed contracts for the removal of solid household waste today. This was facilitated, in particular, by the adoption of a number of legislative norms by the Supreme Council. Taxes For those owners of residential buildings who have not concluded contracts are charged according to the social norm, based on the number of people registered in the house. At the moment it is about 19 rubles for one resident registered in the house. In those houses where there are no registered ones, the tax on the export of solid waste is charged on the basis of one person. Many homeowners who have not paid their legislations for a long time have accumulated impressive debts by now.

The Government proposed to amend the law to be able to collect all the debts accumulated by homeowners during the period when the contract for the removal of solid waste was not concluded. The law on the mandatory conclusion of a garbage collection agreement has been in effect since 2017. The deputies did not support this idea and proposed their own solution to this problem.

The Supreme Council introduced a kind of amnesty for the tax payment for the removal and disposal of household waste, but there are conditions.

Thus, all arrears in tax payments for the removal of solid household waste, which have formed, will not be collected, provided that the contract for the removal of solid waste will be concluded by the end of this year. The Supreme Council this summer adopted appropriate amendments to the law. Those who do not conclude an agreement will have to pay all the accumulated debt.
