The speakers at the forum emphasized that thanks to Russia, our multinational land has been settling and developing for many centuries. Russia united fraternal peoples in the fight against fascism. Russia stopped the war in Pridnestrovie in 1992. Pridnestrovians unanimously voted for unity with Russia during the republican referendum in 2006. An important event for Pridnestrovie and the Obnovlenie party was the signing on November 26, 2007 of an agreement on inter-party cooperation with the All-Russian political party United Russia.
The United Russia party and the Obnovlenie (Renewal) party have been closely cooperating in various fields for more than 10 years: humanitarian, economic, scientific, and political. Three panel discussions were held on social and legal support for compatriots during the forum, as well as security and peacekeeping issues.
Issues related to social support for Pridnestrovians were discussed separately at the forum. These are pensions, medical insurance, the use of maternity capital on the territory of our republic, as well as the spread of Russian national projects in Pridnestrovie.
Russian parliamentarians said that people often asked them questions related to the resumption of full-fledged work of the consular post and obtaining Russian citizenship in the course of the meetings in cities and districts of our republic. These issues are under the personal control of the State Duma deputies representing the interests of Pridnestrovians.
Another topic that was discussed at the last forum related to security and peacekeeping operations. According to the forum participants, strengthening and supporting the Russian peacekeeping operation is the only guarantee of security for Russian citizens and Russian compatriots living in Pridnestrovie.

This place preserves the memory of those generations who defended freedom and independence during the Great Patriotic War, fighting against the German fascist invaders. There the memory of the warriors-internationalists and defenders, who already in peacetime on their land faced aggression.
