The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted in his welcoming speech that the Ministry of Justice is a conductor and a link between state and local government bodies.

Only a few people worked in the newly created Justice Department in 1991. Then it was transformed into Ministry. Today it is a multidisciplinary department with multifaceted tasks and functions that are performed by the departments of the state body, which include the civil service for the execution of sentences, the civil service of bailiffs, the department of forensic examinations and other departments.

Alexander Korshunov thanked the leadership and employees of the Ministry of Justice for constructive professional dialogue with the Supreme Council, for participation in the legislative process.

The deputy of the Supreme Council Gregory Dyachenko was among the employees at the beginning of the formation of the ministry. The deputy noted in a comment to the parliamentary press service that no state can do without such a body as the justice body, which contains the solution of all legal issues.

In addition, the Supreme Council adopted laws to support the staff of the Ministry of Justice. To maintain human resources, the list of recipients of state subsidies for the purchase of housing included certified employees of the penal system and employees of the escort battalion of the Ministry of Justice's internal troops.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the ministry, a number of distinguished employees were awarded state awards. The solemn event ended with a screening of a film about the activities of the Pridnestrovian justice authorities.
