The 10th anniversary of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage

Gala concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the formation of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage was held at the Palace of the Republic. The head of the Civil Service Maria Kyrmyz spoke about the results of the department’s ten-year work.

The Head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage noted that much attention was paid to the cultural sector in the Development Strategy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2019-2026. For example, the Republican Center for National Cultures of Pridnestrovie was created at the Pridnestrovian State Institute of Arts named after Rubinstein in 2020. Its main tasks are the preservation and development of the diversity of original cultures of the peoples of Pridnestrovie.

The honorary guests of the solemn event were the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Galina Antyufeeva and the deputy of the Supreme Council Ilona Tyuryaeva.

Ilona Tyuryaeva expressed gratitude to cultural workers on behalf of the deputy corps. She voiced from the stage of the large hall of the Palace of the Republic the welcoming address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov.

Ilona Tyuryaeva noted the significant role of cultural figures in the process of transmitting historical memory to the younger generation.

It was noted at the event actors and musicians, poets and writers, historians, workers of museums and cultural centers – all of them are united by a love of art. Those who distinguished themselves in their profession were awarded state awards. Secretary of the public organization “Union of Writers of Pridnestrovie” Olga Molchanova received a letter of gratitude from the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from the hands of deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva. She has been writing poetry for 30 years.

Gala concert for cultural workers was held after the official part of the event, at which the Pridnestrovian State Dance and Folk Music Ensemble “Viorica”, the State Symphony Orchestra, the Pridnestrovian State Choir, Honored Artist of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Sergei Vladimir and others performed.
