Today, "Vestra" is a dynamically developing company that won its place in the women's clothing market. Currently, more than 400 people work here. The firm cooperates with partners from England, Germany and Italy, carrying out orders for tailoring products for women. This brand, exists in the clothing market, has opened more than 400 brand stores around the world, including in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chisinau since 1973.

"Vestra" produces from 8.5 to 10 thousand garments in a week. There are several clothing lines: for business women, the Samson line (large sizes), and the youth style as well. These are super fashionable sports bombers, elegant long dresses, bright jackets, skirts, blouses, short coats. Male trench coats we were shown in the style of James Bond. According to Tatyana Kvitko, Deputy Director General for Production Management of ZAO "Sewing Firm "Vestra", the company is export oriented. In the structure of the output, export is 97%, about 3% is produced for the domestic market.

Recently, there has been a positive trend on "Vestra"- the number of jobs is increasing. While these are 14 seamstresses, but the firm invites new employees and is ready to train them. Despite the difficulties, the company is trying to keep pace with the times. In 2012, the modern automated cutting complex was purchased of the French company “Lektra”. Today, almost 80% of the fabric is covered. The exception is the fabric with a pattern. It is chained by hand. In 2014 the company purchased new German sewing machines and re-equipped 4 lines. The price of each is more than 1,7 thousand euros. These smart sewing machines have reduced power consumption by 16%.

The currency crisis hit hard on the garment manufacturers. According to Galina Kirlichenko, since 2014 the enterprise has lost 7 million rubles. There were delays in wages, debts on tax payments in 2015. The sewers turned for help, and it was rendered. The income tax rate for the main activity was reduced by 50% in 2015, and then in 2016. This allowed paying debts on wages and receiving orders. Last year, the growth in production compared to the previous year was 13%.
