"The Supreme Dragon" is ready to participate in the regatta on June 6

52 teams will take part in "The President's Family - for Healthy Lifestyle" dragon boat rowing regatta on June 6. The competition for rowing enthusiasts will be held in Tiraspol at the rowing base. Teams of non-professionals will row the 350-meter distance on the Dniester in dragon boats: officials, deputies, employees of state authorities and administration bodies, enterprises and organizations, students and schoolchildren.

The groups of opponents were formed based on the results of the draw. "The Supreme Dragon" Supreme Council team will compete with the team of the State Service for Environmental Control and Protection of the PMR in the first race of civil authorities and administration.

"The Supreme Dragon" is represented by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, parliamentarian Pavel Shinkaryuk and employees of the Supreme Council Office. The team has not stopped training since the previous regatta, which took place in October in Bendery. "The Supreme Dragon" won the 3rd place in their group among civil authorities and enterprises then.

The Supreme Council team aims to show a decent result on June 6 and reach the final. The fight for I-III places will take place on June 7.

The first regatta on dragon boats "The President's Family - for Healthy Lifestyle" was held in 2022, then about 30 teams participated in it. The number of people wishing to learn rowing is growing, and the team spirit of the participants is growing every year.
