"In Unity with Russia"

Within two days, Aug. 28-29, Moscow hosts forum "In Unity with Russia". Its members are compatriots - citizens of Russia from almost hundred countries. The forum was attended by Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, heads of federal legislative and executive bodies, well-known politicians and public figures, journalists, scientists, priests. Pridnestrovian delegation included more than twenty people, including Parliamentarians of the Supreme Council - Vadim Krasnoselsky, Galina Antyufeeva, Victor Guzun, Alexander Martynov.

The chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, chairman of the "Russky Mir" Vyacheslav Nikonov, the initiator of the forumopened the plenary meeting.

The podium discussion "The foreign policy of the Russian Federation. Compatriot and elections" was held in the frameworks of the forum.  It was devoted to the participation of people living abroad, Russian citizens in the elections to the State Duma of Russian Federation. The speakers were the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov; Chairman of the Supreme Council of PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky; MEP, President of the European Russian Alliance Tatiana Zhdanok; Israeli journalist and political scientist Avigdor Eskin; president of the American University in Moscow Edward Losansky. Moderator - Leading political programs of TV channel "Russia" Sergei Brilyov.

The Topic of Pridnestrovian parliament speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky was - "Parliamentarism as a tool to involve Russian compatriots in the political processes of Russia". The head of the legislative body of the Republic spoke in it about the centuries-old Russian-Pridnestrovian relations; the uniqueness of the peacekeeping mission, carried out by Russian servicemen on the banks of the Dniester; the process of harmonization of Pridnestrovian legislation with Russian; the need to create conditions for the promotion of Pridnestrovian goods on the Russian market; the organizational participation of PMR parliamentarians in the preparation and conduct of elections to the State Duma September 18, 2016.
