"Wishing flower" for special children

"Wishing flower" Republican Festival of Creativity for Children with Special Needs was held in Dubossary for the 12th time. 150 participants - pupils of special educational institutions of Pridnestrovie, Gagauzia and Moldova came to the festival. The festival organizers are the Public Organization for Assistance to Children with Disabilities "Wishing flower", the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the State Administration of the Dubossary District and the city of Dubossary, the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie, and the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Moldova.

The festival opened with an exhibition of arts and crafts by children with disabilities and a large gala concert of festival participants on the stage of the Dubossary Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. The guests of the festival were the leaders of the Dubossary District, the deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR Boris German, the coordinator of Rossotrudnichestvo projects in the Republic of Moldova Artem Naumenkov, and representatives of the Dubossary territorial organization of the RPP “Obnovlenie”.

The parliamentarian wished the children at the festival to make friends and show their creative talents to the maximum. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky sent a greeting to the participants and personally to Svetlana Zavtur, the initiator and long-term organizer of the festival, director of the Dubossary Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs. The President expressed words of sincere gratitude for the dedicated work and achievement of high results in helping children with special needs. The organizers provided the festival participants with a rich, three-day program, including master classes, game and sports competitions, a petting zoo and much more.
