13.10.2015

When autumn is filled with bright colors and Orthodox met Intercession of the Theotokos, capital of the Republic - Tiraspol marks the birthday. History of the city is rich dates and events dates back to 1792. By special order of Catherine II the commander Count Alexander Suvorov was laid Median fortress on the left bank of the Dniester. It was necessary to strengthen the new borders of the Russian Empire after the Russian-Turkish war. Construction of an earthen fort was carried out under the supervision of Engineer Major Russian army Franz de Volan. Then there was founded the city of Tiraspol. In terms of the fortress there was designated eight bastions. The only bastion powder keg "Saint Vladimir" was preserved to this day. However, Tiraspol fortress has not played its defensive role. According to the results of the Bucharest peace treaty in 1812 moved to the Russian border river Prut and Tiraspol lost its borderline significance. Tiraspol fortress - is among the monuments of architecture and urban planning of national importance in the State Register. A monument to Suvorov - the founder of Tiraspol is in the state register listed and established in 1979.

Possibility of development of the city has been seen as laying railway station Razdelinaya to Tiraspol. Tiraspol became the first city in the region, conveniently connected by the port city of Odessa. In the early XX century, the city occupies the central part of modern Tiraspol. The main street of the Intercession was renamed later in the 25 October Street. It housed the administrative and commercial offices. The city had that time about 32 thousand inhabitants. A century later, the enterprises were built, Tiraspol Institute of Education was opened.

The turning point in the history of the city and the lives of Tiraspol was a period of occupation during World War II. During this time the city lost more than 4 thousand people. After release, April 12, 1944 Tiraspol recovered, began to form the industry of mechanical engineering and light industry. The dynamics of the development of the city confirms the trolleybus launching in November 1967. Tiraspol has attracted attention not only as "industrialist", but also as a "builder" of the new industrial and infrastructure facilities. There was flow of people from regions of Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. By the end of the 1990s there were more than 200 thousand people.

A notable history of Tiraspol is the fact that Drama Theater named after Nadezhda Stepanovna Aronetskaya became the place of the II extraordinary congress of deputies of all levels of Pridnestrovie, which was proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Tiraspol becomes its capital. Today its appearance is colorful and modern. They spoke about that at a gala evening "flower, our city, over the Dniester!", dedicated to the celebration of the 223rd anniversary of Tiraspol. The celebration was attended by President Yevgeny Shevchuk, Vice Speaker Efimy Koval, head of the cities and regions, labor veterans, residents and visitors. More than $ 60 million has been invested in the development of the capital over the past three years: 58 million - from extra-budgetary sources, 6 million - from the budget. Major resources were directed to the development of health and education systems. A great contribution was made by the Russian Federation. More than $ 52 million has been invested to Tiraspol from the funds of the Russian Federation from 2012. By means of implementation of an autonomous non-profit organization "The Eurasian Integration" humanitarian project in Tiraspol two kindergartens have been reconstructed, two new preschools were built. It made possible to eliminate the queue in kindergartens for the first post-Soviet life of the city.

Theater actors presented a retrospective of historical epoch of Catherine II as a gift for the residents of the capital. Spectators were able to evaluate the nature of the empress and Count Alexander Suvorov, and the first architect of Tiraspol Franz de Volan. The performance of the guard of honor and the creative teams of the republic was bright.
