The February issue of "The Councils of the People" parliamentary newspaper will tell about the legislations adopted by the Supreme Council and the main events in the republic:
- VII Congress of Deputies of all levels was held in Tiraspol. The delegates turned to Russia and international mediators to use diplomatic measures to protect the republic from economic pressure from Moldova;
- appeal of the deputies of the Consultative Assembly to Russia and international human rights organizations;
- the Supreme Council adopted amendments to the 2024 budget law. Parliamentarians managed to find funds to increase salaries for teachers and healthcare workers;
- the parliament adopted the law-in-draft banning the use of gadgets during lessons in the first reading;
- the procedure for replacing a driver's license has been simplified;
- deputies voted for the opportunity for athletes to participate in competitions during military service;
- the republic remembered the sons of the Pridnestrovian land who died during the Afghan war;
- how was the World Day of Orthodox Youth in Pridnestrovie;
- and the winners of the “Together in the 21st Century” competition.
