“Save the native faces of the Victory”

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, Pridnestrovians joined a large-scale campaign to collect information and photographs about those who fought during the Great Patriotic War. The Memory Road project is being carried out by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Data on each participant in the war will be presented in the form of the largest monument on the territory of the Patriot military-patriotic culture and recreation park. The main temple of the Armed Forces of Russia is being built there.

Information about the participants of the Great Patriotic War from residents of Pridnestrovie is received by servicemen of the OGRV in Pridnestrovie. The collection point is open in the capital's House of Officers.

Information about the grandfathers and great-grandfathers who participated in the Great Patriotic War has already been left by more than five hundred Pridnestrovians, including military servicemen of the OGRV in Pridnestrovie.

As the co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie, Deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Belyakov, the military attaché at the Russian embassy came up with the initiative to hold the event in Pridnestrovie.
