"Softshuz" - Quality of Domestic Production

"Softshuz" shoe company is one of the leading enterprises in the industry. Production facilities in Bendery and Rybnitsa produce more than four thousand pairs of shoes per day. According to the director of the factory, Yuri Cheban, the geography of sales of products is wide - from Europe to Australia. Shoes of the brand FLEXX are known and worn in eighty countries of the world. At the same time brand models can be purchased from us - in branded stores in different cities of the republic.

The company received new development with the arrival of the Italian investor in 2004. The design of models is still being considered in Italy. According to Svetlana Rudova, the plant manager, the factory produces several hundred new models a year. Light sandals, boats, ballet flats for every taste, stylish boots and winter boots - comfortable and comfortable shoes. Modern equipment and new technologies are used for production of women's shoes.

The company employs 1200 people. More than 60% are young workers. Those who are only learning professional work are obtaining experience. Traditionally, students of the trade and technological college practice at the enterprise. One of them is Alexander Kuskov.

This year the team has replenished with specialists of various directions. As explained by the director of the factory, the production of new models is a laborious process. Providing workplaces, the enterprise is ready in time to fulfill the planned volumes of production.

In 2016, the Supreme Council supported the shoemakers. At the initiative of legislators, anti-crisis measures were adopted for industry enterprises. The tax burden was reduced several times. Prior to that, for several years due to incorrect management decisions, the situation in the sphere of footwear production was constantly deteriorating. The Italian investor planned to leave Softshuz. Measures taken by the Supreme Council allowed the Pridnestrovian shoemakers to stay afloat.

Having studied the situation in the industry, the Supreme Council together with the Government decided to continue supporting domestic manufacturers of footwear. Since the new year, the income tax on the industry will be reduced. In addition, a number of industrial branches of the republic expect tax preferences. At the enterprise "Softshuz" they are sure: this will allow increasing the export of products, including to the Russian Federation. It means - to replenish the republic's budget, to provide social guarantees.
