"The Russian World: the present and the future"

June 21 Moscow in the State Kremlin Palace will host an international conference "The Russian World: the present and the future", dedicated to the tenth anniversary of "The Russian World" foundation. Participants of the forum will be members of Pridnestrovian delegation, headed by Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba. Galina Antyufeeva Vice Speaker of Pridnestrovian Parliament, Elena Gorodetskaya CEC Chairman, Stepan Beryl rector of the PSU named after TG Shevchenko.

The conference is expected to involve prominent Russian and foreign public and political figures, famous scientists, writers, cultural figures, teachers of the Russian language and literature, diplomats, legislators, representatives of the clergy, media, and leaders of Russian centers abroad.

Problems of strengthening the positions of the Russian language in Russia and abroad, as well as the role and place of the Russian world in the new architecture of the world order will be considered in Moscow, within the framework of the podium discussions of the international conference.

June 21, 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of President Vladimir Putin's decree on fomation of "The Russian World" foundation. A long way has been passed during these years. Today, more than 4,500 organizations and institutions in more than 100 countries are the Fund's partners. Leading universities and gymnasiums, libraries and museums, research centers and friendship societies with the Russian Federation, organizations of Russian compatriots, Russian schools abroad participate in projects and programs of the foundation. Russian centers and offices of the Russian world have been opened in 76 countries around the world. The Russian Center of Pridnestrovian State University was opened in September 2009 in our republic. It conducts active work on the popularization of the Russian language and culture, conducts conferences, seminars, round tables, presentations of publications, meetings with representatives of culture and public figures, writers from Russia.
