“Buy Pridnestrovian!” in Bendery

Traditional exhibition-fair "Buy Pridnestrovian!" was held on the central square in Bendery on the 1st of July. More than 70 enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and artisans took part in the exhibition. Almost all sectors were represented: from tourism and folk crafts to light industry and food production. The exhibition was held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is already the third event in the framework of "Buy Pridnestrovian!" project this year. Tiraspol hosted the first festival “I am an Entrepreneur!” in May, and exhibition-fair “Buy Pridnestrovian!” began to be held In June, after a three-year break. The first one took place in Dnestrovsk.

 “Buy Pridnestrovian!” is a unique project that is designed to support local producers, strengthen the economy of the republic and promote its development. The project encourages residents of Pridnestrovie to buy products and goods produced in our republic. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov came on Saturday to look at the variety of Pridnestrovian goods and study new trends in small business together with the residents of Bendery and the surrounding villages. The Speaker of the Parliament got acquainted with the goods and services of all 70 enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and artisans. He was interested in entrepreneurs in their products, business models and the difficulties they face in their activities. Entrepreneurs shared their experience and successes, as well as drew attention to some problems that require attention from the state. Alexander Korshunov thanked the entrepreneurs for their work and contribution to the country's economy. It is is impossible not to purchase something at the fair "Buy Pridnestrovian!". The Chairman of the Supreme Council purchased souvenirs and crafts of Pridnestrovian craftsmen.

One of the key aspects of the project is to raise awareness about Pridnestrovian products and their benefits, to create information channels where manufacturers can present their products. The project helps to expand its visibility and accessibility to consumers. In addition, holding festivals, fairs and exhibitions allows presenting a variety of Pridnestrovian goods and services, demonstrating their quality and competitiveness.

Both well-known brands such as the Odema garment factory and Intercenter Lux, as well as new little-known start-ups were presented at the fair. Companies developing domestic tourism and leisure presented their services. For example, you can ride quad bike in the picturesque surroundings of Bendery, such a service is offered by the Bendery Quad Club. The plans include development of special tourist routes together with the Agency for Tourism.

Another important aspect of the project is the support of local farmers and agricultural producers. There is a rich agricultural heritage in Pridnestrovie, and "Buy Pridnestrovian!" helps farmers sell their products and get fair pay for their work. This not only contributes to the development of agriculture, but also provides local residents with access to fresh and high-quality products.

Craft cheeses, honey of all kinds, garments, souvenirs, including those in folk style, were sold at the fair.

Music and dance groups performed for the guests of the fair. The best entrepreneurs on the stage in front of the State Administration in Bendery were presented with diplomas and well-deserved awards. There are plans to hold similar exhibitions “Buy Pridnestrovian!” in all cities of Pridnestrovie in the summer, and to end the season in the Bendery fortress with a festival of wine and grapes in autumn.
