"Memory is Stronger than Time": the best work authors of the drawing competition were awarded in the Palace of the Republic

About 800 works were evaluated by the jury of the "Memory is Stronger than Time" republican drawing competition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Young artists from all corners of Pridnestrovie aged 7 to 18 took part in it. The winners were awarded in the Palace of the Republic today. The competition was organized by the Obnovlenie (Renewal) Party, the Charity Fund "Future of Pridnestrovie" with the support of the contact center of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Union of Russian Communities and the Youth Renovation movement. According to the jury, most of the works were of a high level, and it was not easy to choose the winners. As a result, the number of children awarded was greater than originally planned.

There were three nominations in three age categories. The works were made in different techniques. Thus, Angelina Voronovich, who took first place in the nomination "And the saved world remembers", made her drawing with graphics – using only a black pen.

Certificates were awarded not only to young artists, but also to the teachers who prepared the contestants.

The best drawings are exhibited in the Palace of the Republic. Then the authors of the works will take them home.
