"My Family in the History of the Region"

Deputies of the Supreme Council, members of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Ilona Tyuryayeva and Mikhail Burla became participants in the presentation of the book "My family in the history of the region". This is the first stage in the implementation of the humanitarian project studying the history of Pridnestrovie, initiated by enthusiasts. More than two dozen stories about the fate of our fellow countrymen are in the published book. Its presentation was attended by people's representatives, authors and heroes of publications, experts, and representatives of the public, students and schoolchildren.

Ilona Tyuryayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Culture, spoke as moderator of the round table discussion on the publication of the local history book. She added that much of the information about the past of our region has been lost - some of the information was lost during the Great Patriotic War, during the period of repression, other sources are scattered around the archives of the states of the post-Soviet space.
