"Life and health are most important": congratulations to doctors on the eve of the holiday

Children's voices are heard around the clock in the Republican Center for Mother and Child. Children are born, undergo treatment and examination up to 15 years old, and women of all ages receive specialized medical care in the departments of the center. Doctors and mid-level medical personnel received congratulations today from the Center's management and guests on the eve of Medical Worker's Day, which is celebrated this year on June 15. Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, head of the Republican Political Party "Obnovlenie" Galina Antyufeeva came to congratulate the doctors and thank them for their hard work. Congratulations from the vice-speaker to the doctors who give life to new people is a long-standing good tradition.

Galina Antyufeeva noted the unity of the team of doctors, laboratory technicians, nurses and orderlies of the obstetric and pediatric departments of the Center. The vice-speaker and the head doctor of the Mother and Child Center Natalia Slepukha presented state and departmental awards to the distinguished medical workers today. Certificates of the President, the Supreme Council and the Ministry of Health, as well as the honorary title of "Excellent Healthcare Worker" were received by pediatricians, gynecologists, neonatologists and nurses. Galina Antyufeeva handed over stethoscopes to the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units from the Obnovlenie party.

Pediatrician of the children's admission department Tatyana Maisterenko is the first to meet worried parents every shift who come with sick children for help. Stress resistance and experience are important in order to provide medical care to the child and calm the mother in her work. Tatyana Maisterenko was awarded today the Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Health.

The high professionalism of her colleagues was marked by the chief physician of the state institution "Republican Center for Mother and Child" Natalia Slepukha, congratulating the team on their professional holiday. The center is a level 3 medical institution, which means that a patient from any city or region of Pridnestrovie can receive high-quality high-tech medical care here. The perinatal center has been operating for many years in accordance with modern protocols (World Health Organization, Russia, Moldova), which are approved by the Ministry of Health of the PMR and which are aimed at providing medical care to women in labor and women in labor at a modern level.

A major renovation has been underway in the building of the state institution "Republican Center for Mother and Child" since 2019. The walls of the building were strengthened, the roof and facade were repaired at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund. The institution also has a pediatric hospital with 150 beds in addition to the obstetric and gynecological hospitals. It provides assistance to children from Tiraspol and nearby villages, as well as from other regions of the republic – this is 4-5 thousand children per year. A couple of years ago, repairs were also carried out in the pediatric hospital with the sponsorship of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant. The main hall and floors located between the obstetric and pediatric hospitals were renovated this year. The main thing in medicine is the professionalism of the medical staff and modern equipment, according to Natalia Slepukha. 

Angela Ivanovna Kozachenko has been the first to hear the cry of a newborn and is very proud of her profession since 1993. She says that she worries about every mother and every baby. Angela Ivanovna was awarded today a Letter of Gratitude from the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for her many years of important work in medicine. 

The artists of the orchestra of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic also came to congratulate medical workers on the holiday. They presented lyrical and fiery melodies to the doctors and nurses of the perinatal center. The artists gave similar concerts at the Medin medical center and the Republican Clinical Hospital for the holiday. 

Medical Worker's Day is celebrated this year on June 15 officially. Doctors and nurses began to receive congratulations from grateful patients much earlier. Medicine is a great responsibility for a person's life, and it is also altruism, sleepless nights and work without days off and holidays after all.
