Living memory

There was in the village of Gyska, a suburb of Bendery, on July 22, "Live Memory" meeting, the participants of which recalled five Pridnestrovian guardsmen, shot by Moldovan law-enforcers.

Defenders of the republic Vasily Alekseenko, Vladimir Kildiyarov, Valery Kozelchuk, Viktor Kudrenko, Vitaly Murakhovsky were killed as a result of the attack of the police special forces of the Republic of Moldova, which happened after the agreement on a cease-fire on the Dniester was concluded.

At the place of the tragedy, relatives and friends of the deceased, representatives of government bodies gathered. Chairman of the City Council of People's Deputies Yuri Kara, deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR Anton Onufrienko, chairman of the Council of People's Deputies - head of the administration of the village of Gyska Olesya Khmelnitskaya, head of the apparatus of the Bendery territorial party organization of the "Renewal" Svetlana Samson attended the mourning rally.

Father Anatoly of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary held a funeral service. Participants of the rally laid flowers to the memorial plate.
