The law-in-draft on state support for arrivals from Ukraine: second reading

Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy considered amendments to the law-in-draft "On Measures of State Support for Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons Arriving from the Territory of Ukraine and Temporarily Staying on the Territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" today. The document was adopted at the plenary session on April 13 in the first reading.

The law on state support for those arriving from Ukraine provides for the provision of social assistance and the opportunity to officially find a job.

The profile committee prepared amendments for the second reading, taking into account the comments made at the plenary session. It is proposed in particular to oblige employers to inform the Unified State Social Insurance Fund about the employment or dismissal of foreign citizens. Information about the employee will need to be sent to the territorial body in electronic form within 5 working days from the date of employment or dismissal.

In addition, the law will prescribe that accommodation and meals in temporary accommodation centers for foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as meals in educational institutions and the receipt of school supplies will be financed from the limits of the relevant budget and the republican budget (Government Reserve Fund).

The amendments prepared by the Committee will be considered by the deputies of the Supreme Council in the course of one of the next plenary sessions.
