Комитет по законодательству, правоохранительным органам, обороне, безопасности, миротворческой деятельности, защите прав и свобод граждан

11.04.2017

Members of the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms considered the issue of appointing a judge of the Constitutional Court. To this post, Chairperson of the Committee Galina Antyufeeva proposed the candidacy of Viktor Tulba. She noted the great experience of the candidate in the law enforcement system, his responsible attitude to work. Viktor Tulba has passed a professional path from the investigator to the deputy military prosecutor, from 2015 to the present day is deputy director of ZAO DSK. Tomorrow the candidacy will be discussed during the plenary session.

Deputies also considered a report on the results of the activities of the prosecutor's office for 2016. The document did not raise any comments and will be sent for further consideration in plenary session.

Amendments to the law "On the status of a deputy of the Supreme Council", introduced by Deputy Oleg Petrik, are considered in the second reading. The author offered to oblige local authorities to freely provide the deputies with premises for meetings with voters in the district. As previously noted by the parliamentarian, the reason for introducing the legislative initiative was the situation when his repeated appeals to the former leadership of the Bendery State Administration on the provision of the premises turned out to be inconclusive. Oleg Petrik also suggested making this rule of law mandatory. The wording "to assist" was prescribed in the current law, according to the legislator, is vague and requires concretization.
