Deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Vasilaty, proposed to simplify the procedure for collecting arrears in payments for housing and utilities, as well as mandatory payments and contributions from members of the partnership of homeowners, housing or housing and construction cooperatives. The author of the amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure notes the duration of the existing process of debt collection.
The relevant law committee reviewed the proposed initiative. Opinions of deputies were mixed. On the one hand, it is important to take into account the migration of citizens, on the other - to prioritize the interests of law-abiding citizens.
According to parliamentarian Vitaly Kalin it is necessary to treat the citizens who are leaving for work and who do not have time to pay utility legislations in a timely manner.
Taking into account the significance of the proposed amendments, the deputies of the profile committee by a majority vote supported the law-in-draft of Oleg Vasilaty. Parliamentarians are sure the adoption of the document will allow solving the existing problem.
