Deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources reviewed bills concerning a simplified procedure for accepting ownerless hydraulic structures into state ownership. They want to transfer them to the jurisdiction of the State Unitary Enterprise “Republican Irrigation Systems” in the future. The goal is to ensure the effective and safe operation of such structures on the territory of Pridnestrovie for the safety of the population and infrastructure. Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Oleg Diligul told parliamentarians about this when presenting the legislations.
The minister added that the procedure for accepting/transferring ownerless hydraulic structures into state ownership can take six months or even a year. Therefore, adjustments are being made that will allow for ongoing repairs of such facilities before they become state property.
Changes are being made to the Civil Code and the Law “On the Safety of Hydraulic Structures”. The legislations were supported by deputies of the relevant committee. The proposed changes will be considered by the deputy corps in the first reading in the course of one of the plenary meetings of the Supreme Council.
