Deputies in the second reading considered the legislative initiative of the Deputy chairman of the Committee, Anton Onufrienko at the first meeting of this year. The basis for the development of the law-in-draft was the contradiction of certain norms of the Housing and Civil Codes with regard to obtaining the consent of the tenant of the premises under a social contract for the introduction of minor family members. At a meeting of the Committee on State Regional Policy, the law-in-draft was considered in the second reading.
The Committee considered it appropriate to amend the articles of the Civil and Housing Codes to exclude an ambiguous interpretation of legal norms. Deputies will recommend to the Supreme Council to adopt this law-in-draft in final reading.
In addition, in the course of the meeting of the Committee, Deputies supported the law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On the administrative-territorial structure of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic", developed by the Government. This was done to eliminate problems arising from citizens in connection with the indication in the previously issued documents on the birth of various options for the name of place of birth. So, for persons born in the city of Dubossary from June 8, 1990 to February 27, 1992, the name of the place of birth (Dubossary the birth certificates and birth certificates was indicated in Moldavian: “Dubesari”.
The law-in-draft proposes to enshrine in the State Register of Compatible Names that the previously used name “Dubesari” is compatible with the official name “Dubossary”.
