On Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Vehicle Owners

Deputies of the Committee on the APC, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources considered the law-in-draft on the introduction of the Law "On Compulsory Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners". Additions were initiated by the Chairman of the Committee Oleg Leontyev. The parliamentarian proposed streamlining the procedure for eliminating damage to networks and electric communication facilities before the insurer arrives. The law allowed to quickly restore the supports of power lines, the support of the contact network of trolleybuses and the technical means of traffic organization in case of damage to an accident until now. The injured person or his representative must take photos and videos of property damaged in an accident at the same time.

The proposed additions to the Law on Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Vehicle Owners were supported by the deputies of the committee for consideration and adoption by the Supreme Council in the first reading. The decision is up to the deputy corps.
