Economic policy issues were considered by the relevant committee for the plenary meeting

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance held a regular meeting. The agenda included legislations that would amend the laws on corporate income tax, on the lease of state and municipal property, on customs tariffs and special tax regimes.

Deputies decided in the course of discussions with official representatives of the Government to postpone a number of legislations to the next meeting of the Committee to finalize legislative initiatives and form a common position on them.

The Committee submitted law-in-draft with amendments to the law “On Customs Tariffs” for consideration by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the second reading. The state will provide a benefit in the form of exemption from customs duties in the case of import of equipment to Pridnestrovie for their own technological needs by organizations with foreign investments.
