The water to each home

The situation with drinking water in the villages of the republic is difficult. Many settlements are in the queue for the problem solution. The approval of the state program of construction, repair and reconstruction of water supply systems of villages and towns in 2011-2015 was the oasis for them. It was assumed that the allocated amount in the order of 235 million rubles is to solve the problem of drinking water supply. However, as the practice of this program shows, the formation of the activities the financial support carried out without real needs of the population. In other words, because of the fact that necessary work in some villages, for example, in the village of Katerinovka Kamenka District, spent several times more than the planned funds, other works have not even been started. Thus, to date, the program is executed by half.

Parliamentarians were interested in the fate of the program and the possibility of its prolongation when discussing the issue.

The Committee decided to defer consideration by deputies of the program of drinking water supply that the new Ministry of Regional Development will present its vision to ensure the full implementation of the state program. Deputies set the task to prolong the program soon, so that the water came in every village needs it.

As the head of the parliamentary committee Efimy Koval noted, the proposal for extension of the program to be introduced as quickly as possible, to be able to consider it at the plenary session before the adoption of the budget for 2016.
