The issue of unauthorized buildings was considered during the meeting of the working group of the parliamentary committee on legislation in September. The government proposed to establish a norm according to which the statute of limitations for administrative responsibility for unauthorized construction or redevelopment will be calculated from the date of the discovery of these administrative offenses, that is, at the time of inspection by the state supervision service. From 2014, according to the norms of the Administrative Code, the decision on an administrative offense case cannot be made after two months from the date of its commission, and in a case that is tried in court, after four months. Thus, it is possible to identify violators only for several months after the completion of illegal construction was revealed.

The vice-speaker suggested that the prosecutor's office should analyze how much the budget was lost due to the lack of this provision.
