Within the framework of harmonization

Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture, Mikhail Burla initiated amendments to the law "On Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education".  The author proposed to clarify the concept of "teacher" for the system of higher vocational education. It is envisaged that teaching staff can be assigned to faculty. A similar rule applies in the Russian legislation.

The head of the profile committee, Mikhail Burla, proposed clarifying and harmonizing the legislative norms in terms of the remuneration of the teaching staff of the higher vocational education system. In addition, by analogy with the Russian Federation, in the opinion of the parliamentarian, it is necessary to separate the positions of teacher and assistant in the staff list of universities and the list of positions of education employees.

Legislative initiatives of the deputy were supported by colleagues on the committee. They will be recommended for adoption in the first reading during the plenary session.
