The Central Bank of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic may have additional levers to combat illegal activities in the financial market of Pridnestrovie. The initiative was developed by the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance of the Supreme Council. The author is deputy Yuri Kucherenko.

The law-in-draft on amendments to the law "On the Central Bank of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" proposes to grant the Central Bank additional powers to protect the population from financial pyramids. The bank will be able to suppress illegal financial activities by interacting with law enforcement agencies, according to the initiative of Yuri Kucherenko. Namely: the credit institution will create and publish a list of individuals and legal entities with identified signs of fraudulent financial schemes, quasi-investment projects, and other illegal activities in the financial market. The criteria for inclusion in this list will be determined and approved by the bank's board. The list of entities will be for reference only and will be posted on the official website of the Bank of Pridnestrovie. The head of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank will have the right to notify law enforcement agencies about the dissemination of information by dubious participants in the financial market for a final assessment of their activities.

The law-in-draft on amendments to the law "On the Central Bank of the PMR" will be recommended by the Profile Committee to the deputy corps for adoption in the course of the plenary session in the first reading.
