Conservation of natural resources

Special commission was established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 2019. Based on the results of its work, the lists of rare and endangered species of animals, plants and fungi that are recommended to be taken under state protection were clarified. The commission prepared lists of species of animals, plants and fungi, which are recommended to be included in the Red Book of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Deputies of the relevant committee supported the legislative initiative to include more than a dozen species of fish in the category of rare and the Red Book. The Agro-Industrial Complex Committee will recommend to the Supreme Council to adopt the law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On payments for environmental pollution and the use of natural resources" in two readings at once.
