The social sphere and medicine are the two main topics that were discussed during the meeting of the Supreme Council Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues.

The government proposes to keep compensation payments on the occasion of the loss of the bread-winner for widows of those who lost their lives in the protection of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in case of their transition to the pensions of another state. First of all, it concerns those who permanently or on the basis of a long registration live in Pridnestrovie, but receive a Russian pension. It is about the amount of approximately 1,400 Pridnestrovian rubles per month.

The legislative initiative considered during the meeting is aimed at raising the level of social security for widows of the deceased defenders of the republic, and therefore is unanimously supported by the committee members.

The same fate was with the proposal to save a monthly allowance in the amount of 5 MW for honorary donors receive Russian pension. It is necessary to receive such a deserved title to donate blood, and thus save someone's life, 50 times. The introduction of this legal norm is planned from January 1, 2019. It will be reflected in the draft budget now being drafted for next year.

The deputies of the profile parliamentary committee rejected the government's initiative, which presupposes the possibility of the doctor's refusal to carry out an operation on artificial termination of pregnancy on religious grounds.

Members of the committee at the request of the prosecutor's office drafted and adopted an interpretation of one of the norms of the law "On State Pensions". It is impossible to take into account the length of service for the appointment of a pension for the period when a citizen of Pridnestrovie was registered as unemployed in the employment center and received benefits in a foreign country.
