Demarcation of the use of land plots

The relevant committee deputies prepared for consideration in the second reading the legislations prohibiting the use of lands not for intended purpose. We are talking about the ban on the peasant farm in the field of livestock on land plots provided within the boundaries of settlements for personal subsidiary plots, housing or other construction.

The legislations were adopted last fall in the first reading. Then, a discussion arose concerning the fact that many entrepreneurs are acquiring residential buildings or abandoned buildings in rural areas and contain a large amount of cattle. Unpleasant odors and the presence of insects cause great inconvenience living in the neighborhood of such farms to local residents. This problem was raised by the deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Petrik on the basis of appeals of his voters.

The main concept of a package of legislations is to limit the activities of peasant (farm) farms in the line of settlements. In the case of adoption, the legislations will be established: use land for personal needs or for entrepreneurial activity.

The profile committee prepared a technical amendments by the second reading, they will be considered by deputies at the plenary meeting of the Supreme Council. The deputies of the committee noted that in order to implement the law in case of adoption in the final reading, it will be necessary to develop a so-called act.
