Work on the draft budget-2023

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered law-in-draft on the republican budget for 2023 in the first reading. Chairman of the relevant Committee Viktor Guzun noted that the main financial document of the country remains socially oriented. First of all, the state must fulfill its obligations for the timely and full payment of wages, pensions and benefits. These are priority areas.

The parliamentarians considered law-in-draft on the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund together with the law-in-draft on the budget-2023. As for the direct distribution of revenues and expenditures of the republican budget by articles and sections, they will have to be approved in the second reading.

It is planned that the draft budget-2023 will be submitted for consideration by the Supreme Council in the course of the plenary session that will be held tomorrow, November 23. The final decision on this will be made by the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
