The work is nearing completion

In the course of meetings with voters the deputies were frequently asked questions about the intersection by citizens of the state border, the admission of PMR citizenship, residency / discharge. In response to community requests, the Supreme Council adopted a package of legislations on the subject the first reading. At the same time due to volume documents the deputies decided to establish a working group to prepare for their adoption in the second reading. It was created under the auspices of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation. Along with the deputies it included representatives of the Interior Ministry, the KGB, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Members of the working group have to improve migration legislation, registration and deregistration of citizens crossing the state border, citizenship of Pridnestrovie.

They continued to line-item discussion of the draft law "On citizenship" at the next meeting. There were different views concerning the period of temporary stay in the territory of Pridnestrovie of foreigners, simplified adoption of citizenship, residence and activities of the Institute registration, including the time, PMR citizenship deprivation, the right to appeal this act, functioning of migration control, and other important aspects.

The next meeting of the working group is scheduled for November 1.
