Deputies of the Committee on Security, Defense and Peacekeeping considered amendments to the law "On the turnover of arms and ammunition on the territory of Pridnestrovie". It was about two legislations, the authors of one of them are Deputies Andrey Sipchenko and Yuri Sporish, the initiator of another - the deputy Galina Antyufeeva. The first law-in-draft proposes to establish an open-ended "weapon amnesty". In this case, citizens will have the right to apply to the bodies of internal affairs with the statement for the legalization of illegally stored their weapons and ammunition. The person will be exempted from liability provided that his actions do not contain crime components. The proposed rule, according to developers, will protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, to ensure the prevention of offenses and crimes. The initiative was supported by the parliamentary deputies in the first reading.

Members of the committee continued to discuss the law-in-draft in the second reading. Representative of the executive branch proposed that a person should have the right to declare any illegally held weapons for its legalization except rifled handguns, the legalization of which should be held only within the terms that was prescribed by the President. The head of parliamentary committee Andrey Sipchenko, speaking for the opportunity to perpetual legalization of any weapon, agreed to the proposal. Parliamentarians will recommend the deputies to adopt the law-in-draft in the second and final reading in view of the amendment.

Such a proposal was sounded regarding parliamentarians on the initiative of Galina Antyufeeva. The law-in-draft proposes to eliminate the legal conflict in the law that restrict the right to obtain a permit for storage, storage and carrying, collecting and exhibition of weapons and ammunition.
