The deputies of the Committee on Regional Policy supported the law-in-draft, the adoption of which will allow citizens to privatize housing provided to them in the order of partial improvement of housing conditions, as registered as those in need of improved housing conditions. Now in the state administrations of Tiraspol, Bendery, Slobodzeya and Slobodzeya district there are statements that are unenforceable under the current law. The state must provide housing to those on the waiting list, taking into account the following parameters: 18 sq. meters per member of a family of three or more people, 42 square meters for a family of two, 33 square meters for a single person. Often, due to the lack of the necessary space, the applicant is temporarily provided with another housing, which, according to the law, cannot be privatized.
If a person privatizes temporary housing, he will be removed from the queue for housing.
The Regional Policy Committee will recommend adopting law-in-draft on the privatization of housing provided for the partial improvement of living conditions at the plenary meeting in the first reading.
