The agenda of the meeting of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture included a question concerning vetoed by the President the law "On Amendments to the Law of PMR "On additional guarantees for the social protection of orphans and children left without parental care". Let’s remember that the initiative of the deputy Vladimir Bodnar proposes to provide this category of children eligible to receive higher education in training programs, bachelor's and master's degrees from the State budget. The issue was postponed at the last plenary meeting. Parliamentary committee prepared a draft resolution on the establishment of a special conciliation commission on the vetoed document. According to the Chairman of the Committee, it is important to resolve disagreements and work out an agreed version of the law for reconsideration at the next plenary session.
The Committee on Education continued to work on amendments to the parliamentary law-in-draft on the implementation of the state final certification of students and the introductory campaign in schools. The initiative "On amendments and addendum to some legislative acts of PMR" was introduced by the Supreme Council in July of last year, Vladimir Bodnar and Oleg Khorzjan. At present, Documents are in the process of preparation for the second reading. 95 sheets of amendments were considered during the meeting. According to the chairman of the relevant committee, the majority of commentsб received from the subjects of law initiative, agreed by the Committee and the Government, will be forwarded to the deputies. However, there are still questions that remain opened; for example, they refer to the place of final school examinations and requirements for entrance examinations to universities. It planned until June 16 to hold a working meeting with representatives of the Government for their resolution.
The amendments to a package of legislations, proposed to ensure effective legislative measures for the conservation of immovable cultural heritage (monuments of archeology) were agreed for the second reading. The author of initiatives of Deputy Vladimir Bodnar offers to improve standards of criminal and administrative responsibility for violation of the law in this sphere. Appropriate amendments need to be made to the laws "On immovable cultural heritage", "On Export and Import of Cultural Property" in the Criminal and Civil Codes, as well as to the Administrative Code.
