Assistance to enterprises and businesses in the face of external factors

The Supreme Council received two legislative initiatives that are designed to support large enterprises, small and medium businesses of Pridnestrovie due to external factors. They were considered the day before by the relevant parliamentary Committee.

The authors of the two submitted legislations are parliamentarians and the Government. Both initiatives have been developed on the basis of proposals and recommendations from business associations, the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs, and requests from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance after studying and discussing, decided to take the new law as a basis, and introduce the support measures proposed in the alternative law-in-draft as amendments as part of the second reading of the law.

The first block of support measures includes tax relief, financial incentives for economic agents are provided in the form of soft loans to replenish working capital, a separate block of issues concerns support for small and medium-sized businesses, and there is a set of measures related to customs issues and procedures.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance recommends that a new law on support measures be submitted for adoption in the first reading at the plenary session on the 18th of May.
