Support the cable industry

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance supported the law-in-draft of colleagues deputies Alexander Korshunov, Anton Onufrienko and Sergey Khankevich designed to support the cable industry companies. The initiative was developed at the request of the enterprise management Bendery "Moldavkabel". The explanatory note to the document states that at the end of this year the tax breaks on income, established for this plant, both for the enterprise with foreign investments will expire. The rate of 3.83% will automatically rise 6.58%. Taking into account that even with the current preferential taxation "Moldavkabel" is on the verge of bankruptcy, the tax burden increase simply ruin it. The economy of the republic in danger of losing the serviceable taxpayer and 285 job places.

Deputies propose to reduce the rate of income tax for the cable industry to 1.5%. Alexander Korshunov, responding to the arguments of the government to reduce tax revenues, reminded the situation with Pridnestrovian shoemakers.

The chairman of the Economic Policy Committee, Alexander Martynov told that cable producers need to be supported.

The draft law of the responsible committee members, aimed at supporting the cable industry was recommended for adoption in the first reading by unanimous decision.
