The Supreme Council held the first this year meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms. The committee chairman Galina Antyufeeva drew attention of its participants to the fulfillment of the tasks set by the president for this year.
There are about 30 issues on the agenda of the meeting today, including a law-in-draft, sent by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky in the regime of legislative necessity. It concerns implementation of agreements reached in the autumn of last year during the negotiation process. In particular, the functioning of Moldovan schools in Pridnestrovie, where teaching is carried out on the basis of Latin graphics.
Amendments are made to the law "On Leasing State and Municipal Property". The responsible committee recommended the deputy corps to adopt the law-in-draft in the first reading.
The initiative of the colleagues-deputies Victor Guzun, Vadim Doni, Andrei Mezhinsky and Vadim Kravchuk is supported by the profile parliamentary committee. Legislators proposed to regulate the responsibility of individual entrepreneurs who carry out entrepreneurial activities without a patent. Legislation establishes the norm, according to which the penalty for this type of violation will be 500 MW. According to parliamentarians, the implementation of the provisions of this law-in-draft will give an impulse to for the conscientious work of individual entrepreneurs.
Deputies of the Committee on Legislation recommended adopting this law-in-draft in the second reading.
