First reading of 2022 budget

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance at its meeting considered the draft law "On the Republican Budget for 2022" in the first reading. Representatives of the Government, ministries, departments, heads of city and district administrations took part in the work of the committee. The discussion lasted over 6 hours.

As deputies have repeatedly emphasized, the budget must be balanced. It is the balance of the country's main financial document in terms of revenues and expenditures that ensures the fulfillment by the state of its obligations under socially protected items. These are pensions and salaries of state employees, social benefits.

The law-in-draft "On the republican budget for 2022" will be considered by the entire deputy corps at an extraordinary plenary meeting on Tuesday, December 14.

The meeting of the Supreme Council tomorrow will be held in the usual format in the plenary hall. This will shorten the time frame for consideration of the law-in-draft.
