The government submitted law-in-draft “On approval of the State program for the development of the agro-industrial complex for 2019–2026” for consideration by the Supreme Council. The document was created on the instructions of the President. Work on it began in 2017. Today, the draft state program was discussed in the course of the meeting of the relevant parliamentary committee. Oleg Diligul, the first deputy minister of agriculture and natural resources, told parliamentarians what changes are planned in the agro-industrial complex in the coming years.
As Oleg Diligul noted, the draft program provides for the company's own or borrowed funds of enterprises, as well as state subsidies as sources of financing. Preferential loans from the State Reserve Fund can be obtained for the development of animal husbandry, horticulture, fruit growing and vegetable production. The state will also undertake to finance part of the credit rate of commercial banks. Provided by the draft program and the preferential tariff for irrigation water. It is planned in the future to introduce preferential taxation on land with perennial plantings and gardens, which were given for rooting out.
According to the deputies of the Committee, the State Program for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex for 2019–2026 is an important and necessary document for the development of the republic. The head of the profile committee Oleg Leontyev called on his colleagues in the deputy corps to actively participate in the consideration of the draft program, to make constructive suggestions for its finalization.
