Pensions - on time, work - for young people

Deputies of the parliamentary committee on state regional policy considered the law-in-draft submitted by the government "On the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund 2018".

The document stipulates that the minimum amount of pensions will remain at the level of the current year as well. In comparison with the current year, the revenue part of this social fund will be reduced. This is due to decrease in the number of pension recipients.

Despite the fact that the deficit of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund is close to 900 million rubles, the source of its repayment next year will be the funds of a special gas account.

In the course of the meeting, deputies discussed employment issues with representatives of the fund. In particular, next year it is planned to return to the practice of four-day public training in municipal enterprises and institutions registered in urban employment centers as unemployed and receiving the corresponding allowance. Funds will be allocated for the implementation of the programs "Youth Practice", "Trainee" and "Chance". This will make it possible to take up the work of the representatives of the younger generation.
