The Parliamentary Committee is considering the Prosecutor’s initiative on a construction amnesty

The law-in-draft of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On introducing amendments to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On some additional state measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors” was considered in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources. The author of the legislative initiative was the Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The amendments proposed by the Prosecutor were aimed at improving the current legislation regulating the commissioning of construction amnesty projects. These changes are based on citizens' appeals to the prosecutor's office, as well as on court decisions that have already entered into force.

A representative of the prosecutor's office emphasized the importance of this proposal for citizens faced with similar situations and called for the adoption of an option that would make it possible to remove obstacles before the commissioning of construction amnesty projects. Examples were given at the Committee meeting, when adjacent land users refuse to consent to the commissioning of a facility, thereby creating a vicious circle, or when these users are unavailable due to temporary absence or other circumstances.

The Committee supported the initiative of the Prosecutor; the law-in-draft will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions of parliament in the first reading.
