Parking and Irrigation Water Rates

The parliamentarians will consider additions to the law "On Road Safety" in the second reading at one of the next plenary meetings. The amendments, voted by the deputies of the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex Issues today, should eliminate a gap in the legislation regulating relations in the field of organization of parking spaces. The Committee proposes to establish general requirements for parking in particular. They will apply to both paid parking lots and public parking lots. The legal side of the issue of organizing and creating free parking lots, according to the law-in-draft, will be dealt with by the local authorities. At the same time, the required number of parking spaces will be determined by urban planning regulations. Amendments to the law provide for the creation of a register of public parking lots. This will also be done by the state administrations of cities and regions. The law-in-draft was prepared as part of the harmonization of the Pridnestrovian legislation with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The next two legislations deal with the same topic - the operation of the state reclamation system. Thus, within the framework of the law “On Prices (Tariffs) and Pricing”, which the Committee on Agroindustrial issues prepared for the second reading, it proposes to fix the possibility of state regulation of the water tariff for irrigation purposes at the level of the norm.

Another law-in-draft concerns the state reclamation system. Amendments to the Law “On Competition and Restriction of Monopolistic Activities in Commodity Markets” were developed with the aim of expanding the scope of natural monopolies. Services of centralized water supply for irrigation of agricultural land by the state reclamation system should become an additional activity.
