Reports on the State Programs Implementation in 2024

Deputies heard reports on the implementation of state target programs in the field of tourism and entrepreneurship in 2024 at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. They were presented by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Natalia Sitkina.

"Support and development of tourism in the PMR for 2019-2026" State Target Program 

Natalia Sitkina noted that 8 events were implemented last year to promote and develop tourism in Pridnestrovie within the framework of the state program for tourism development. The booklets "Discover Pridnestrovie ", "Rural Tourism", the booklet "Cycling Routes in Pridnestrovie" (in Russian and English), various presentation materials and branded products were developed and produced. Tourist maps of Pridnestrovie, Tiraspol and Bendery were developed and published in Russian and English. 6 information signs were installed, indicating the extreme geographical points of the republic, the highest point and the geographical center of Pridnestrovie, as well as 62 signs of the main tourist attractions and routes in the regions of the republic. An advertising campaign was carried out to promote the tourist product in foreign magazines and the portal "Discover Pridnestrovie" (the site's traffic statistics for 2024 are 281.3 thousand views, 133.9 thousand visits). Tourism products of Pridnestrovie were presented at the 27th International Specialized Exhibition "Tourism & Travel Expo" in Chisinau.

It is noted that about 12.5 thousand people entered Pridnestrovie for tourism purposes last year (this is almost 2 times more than in 2023). The interest of Pridnestrovians in domestic tourism has increased. 1408 people took advantage of the offers of travel agencies and tour guides in 2024, who received a cashback of 639.3 thousand rubles, having paid for 47 excursions and 34 tours for 1 million 435.5 thousand rubles. The total funding for the state tourism program in 2024 amounted to about 900 thousand rubles.

"Support and Development of Entrepreneurship in the PMR for 2023-2027" State Target Program 

As part of the report on the implementation of the state program for the development of entrepreneurship in 2024, Natalia Sitkina reported that the actual amount of funds spent on financing the State Target Program in 2024 amounted to 1 million 488.8 thousand rubles. They were spent on the implementation of the projects "Functioning of the Business School" and "Buy Pridnestrovian".

50 aspiring entrepreneurs and 52 schoolchildren were trained in the business school in the basics of creating a business and the basics of entrepreneurship, hundreds of managers of organizations and business enterprises underwent advanced training.

8 exhibitions and fairs, the "I am an entrepreneur" festival and the wine and grape festival, as well as seminars, tastings and round tables were held for Pridnestrovians and guests of the republic, advertising audio and video clips were created as part of the "Buy Pridnestrovian!" project. There were no applications from aspiring entrepreneurs for support under the "My Business" project in 2024, so the money allocated for it was redistributed to other items of the state program. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance will submit draft resolutions of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the approval of reports on the implementation in 2024 of the State Target Program for the Development of Tourism and the Development of Entrepreneurship for consideration by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the near future.
