The Equal Opportunities State Program was launched in March 2019 and ran until the end of 2022. A lot of work during this time has been done to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and other people with limited mobility. Comfortable environment was formed for free movement and access of persons with disabilities to social infrastructure and information. Ramps and other special-purpose equipment were installed in socially significant objects. According to the Ministry of Social Protection, 16 ramps were installed in Kamenka district, 3 ramps in Rybnitsa district, 5 ramps in Dubossary and Slobodzeya districts, 1 ramp in Grigoriopol district, 20 ramps and 37 ramps in Tiraspol, 24 ramps in Bendery. Conditions have been created for the employment of disabled people and access to education. The Ministry of Education included the topic "Inclusion in the education system" in all programs of advanced training courses in 2020-2021. Cultural events were held with the involvement of disabled people in joint activities. The already traditional festival of creativity of children and young people with disabilities "Tsvetik-Semitsvetik" was held for the 10th time in Dubossary in 2022. The festival guests this time were teams of correctional institutions from all over the republic and guests from Gagauzia. It was held online due to coronavirus restrictions In 2020 and 2021.

"Republican Center for Prosthetics and Orthopedics" State Institution provided 3713 people with prosthetic and orthopedic products, hearing aids and wheelchairs in the period 2019-2022. The agreement was signed with NP CJSC Elektromash for the supply of specialized equipment to equip a workshop for the repair of prosthetic and orthopedic products under the program of the Capital Investment Fund in 2020. Organizational and financial assistance was provided to 5 public organizations of disabled people (LLP "United Union of Disabled and Veterans", NGO "Warrior" Center for Social Rehabilitation of the Disabled of the Regional Conflict of 1992, "Improving Social and Educational Rehabilitation Center" (OSORTS), NGO " Tiraspol Association of Families of Disabled Children, Tiraspol NGO of the Blind and Visually Impaired).

The Equal Opportunities program covered many socially significant areas and has not lost its relevance. The Ministry of Social Protection plans to extend it for the next year.

The Committee on Social Policy, Health Care, Labour, Family and Childhood Issues considered the submitted report, prepared a draft resolution, which will be considered at the next plenary session of the Parliament.
