The Grounds for the State Duty Cancellation

The law-in-draft was developed by the Government as part of the implementation of state policy in the sphere of business development. “Buy Pridnestrovian!” Project was launched in our republic in 2019. This project is being implemented within the framework of the "Support and development of entrepreneurship in the PMR for 2019-2021" state target program. A single trademark was registered in the republic, uniting all Pridnestrovian goods for this project. Products of domestic manufacturers with the symbols of this project appeared on the shelves of our stores. One of the conditions that had to be met in this case was to officially transfer to organizations the right to use the "Buy Pridnestrovian!" trademark. State fee must be paid for this according to the current legislation. The Ministry of Economic Development considers that such conditions significantly complicate the process of connecting the producers of Pridnestrovie to the project.

Deputies of the relevant committee supported this initiative and will recommend to the Supreme Council to adopt the law-in-draft in the first reading.
